Amelia asked if I would teach her to braid the other day. I initially told her she was too young to learn, but then the more I thought about it, the more I figured she was actually the perfect age to learn. She LOVES making patterns and has learned "right" and "left", so why not? I decided to start her using pipe cleaners, thinking it would be easier to learn using those in case she let go mid-braid.
Turns out, she is a natural! And as an added bonus, she requests a braid in her hair almost every day. Now if only she could braid it herself.
Next up? Shoe tying!
