One of the activities Amelia really wanted to do this summer was pick blueberries. She listed it on our Summer Fun list (take my word for it, since I've yet to blog about it) and refused my suggestion to change it to "pick fruit". The place we usually go had spotty picking that mostly took place during the week. But, as luck would have it, we headed out one Sunday morning to pick peaches and blackberries and there were still a handful of blueberries available for us too!
Henry could not have cared less about the picking, he just wanted a front row seat to watch the tractor.
That is, until he got to the field, then he was all about picking anything he could get his hands on. He was particularly proud of this blackberry.
Both kids easily ate their weight in fruit. How could you not? Delicious.
