Pour Some (Powdered) Sugar on Me

Like many mom friends of mine, I love Family Fun magazine!  I feel like Amelia and I do a couple of projects from each issue (and mark many others that we never seem to quite get around to).  I came across this Snowflake Tortilla idea through their online site and it was the quick, easy, and fun trifecta!

This is the snowflake I cut up, Amelia is generously helping me put the powdered sugar on top post-oven baking (400 degrees for 4 minutes, after brushing on vegetable oil).

Done!

Here's Amelia's tortilla! Next time we may try sprinkling cinnamon-sugar on top.

I wouldn't say that this "treat" was especially delicious, but it was definitely worth the effort and a nice addition to a mug of hot chocolate!
